Did you notice there was no blog last week? We were getting ready for the RBC Heritage tournament, a local tradition for 50 years! My family and I believe in volunteering for events such as this one, Family Circle was another one that I enjoyed helping with.

OK back to the Realtor Tour: This week we had 38 properties to see, three which were villas. Those of you that diligently read this (who does such a thing?), will know that I do not put villas as a preview nor will it be my favorite. Ever. Except when there is an exception. Probably never.

So we had 21 in Hilton Head Plantation, 4 in Indigo Run, 5 in Palmetto Hall and one in Windmill Harbour. The other 7 were off-Plantation, namely Beach City Place, Carolina Isles, Crosswinds, Shearwater Plantation, Tabby Walk Villas, Victoria Square and Woodlake Villas.

The 21 homes in Hilton Head Plantation were mostly in Skull Creek area, two in Stonegate, two in Oyster Reef, 3 in Headlands and two in Crooked Pond. One was brand new, some great redo and one home was great but so much clutter you could not see the beauty of the home! No favorites but many good ones. Indigo Run had a rare and popular Berwick Green Villa and Palmetto hall had some homes with a higher range than usual: $449,000 to $1,199,999!

3 Post Mill Road in Windmill Harbor was a good one but needed lots of updating for the price. I will cut to the chase. This week, 19 Shear water Drive was my favorite. Driving down Jonesville Road and seeing the water, dock and new home, made it a perfect island getaway! I am a fan of community and this was not in a gated secured community but the view and feel were perfect! That is all - until next week. Call me if you wish more information or just to chat.

Sincerely,

Susan Ochnser
